Among friends dropping in at Chelsea Space to check out the Lloyd Johnson show installation yesterday were performer Eve Ferrett and her other half Mark Summerfield.
Eve and Mark told us they were knocked out by the way it is shaping up; a lot of progress has been made with the upper part of the space and the ramp is beginning to take shape, as is the area which reflects Lloyd’s retail manifestations Cockell & Johnson and Johnson & Johnson (1968-1974).
And I got to ponce about in one of the fun fur clubwear/Brian Jones coats from the 90s.

You lloyd are worthy to go down in the annals of history as one if not the most successful and most important talents of design in the 60’s to 90 ‘ s in fashion design in both the rock scene and general style of the era ! If I thought you were older I might even mention before that. Lloyd you have been an inspiration to many designers over the years and I am so happy to have been a part of your life in one way or another . I so wish I was there to share your success and joy .
