Perry Henzell’s 1972 film The Harder They Come and its accompanying soundtrack cast quite a shadow across popular culture.

Bloke Of Britain Chris Salewicz has made an excellent two-part documentary about its significance to Jamaica and the rest of the world, with contributions from the main figures involved as well as historians who place the film in the context of the island’s development.
