Consulting: Royal Mail’s Great British Fashion stamps
I was a consultant to design company Johnson Banks for the Royal Mail’s Great British Fashion first day cover stamps.
I was particularly pleased to influence their decision to include Granny Takes A Trip, and made sure that John Stephen was recognised for his role in the development of menswear in this country. I also put them in touch with Mark and Cleo Butterfield of C20 Vintage to ensure that the source material was impeccable.
Historian Amy de la Haye provided text and the illustrated timeline which comes with each package of the 10 stamps.
