As part of the BBC Four Goes Pop season, the British TV channel is running a 45-sec ident commissioned from Derek Boshier.

Made in the signature style familiar from Boshier’s filmworks, the ident cleverly incorporates a number of his works, including Swan Vesta and Special K (both 1961), KKK (1983) and Reigning Apps & Blogs (2011). It also features such Boshier motifs as The Falling Man, the silhouetted profile and the framing device of a hand-held iPad .
