The new issue of Arena Homme + features my interview with publishing legend Nick Logan, who founded the men’s fashion magazine 20 years ago.
During our conversation, Logan talked about how he drew on his stewardship of the NME and Smash Hits in the 70s and his creation of The Face and Arena in the 80s to launch the publication.
The anniversary is celebrated in a special issue wrapped with a Steven Klein supplement and includes contributions from other photography giants such as Brian Griffin, Juergen Teller and Alasdair McLellan.
Editor Ashley Heath’s funny and revealing editorial runs the gamut, from the taboo of publishing images of penises (which he breaches elsewhere in the issue) to his issues with Morrissey’s autobiography.
