Photography: Jordan by Peccinotti
These photographs of SEX shop superstar Jordan appear in the photographer Harri Peccinotti’s illustrated career resume HP.
Born Pamela Rooke and these days Jordan Mooney, her punk attitude and other-worldly appearance had guaranteed celebrity and notoriety in London at least when she modeled for Peccinotti (who made his name as designer + art director at Esquire Records, Vanity Fair and Nova and photographed for Elle, Vogue, Twen and Town) in 1976 (the book incorrectly dates the session to 1971).
Meanwhile the revealing interior shots show Mooney in fishnets, SEX rubber mini dress and white patent leather “Puss In Boots” boots.
In another, taken on the pavement outside 430 King’s Road, Mooney wears a see-through skirt and You’re Gonna Wake Up t-shirt.
In the same section there is an un-captioned shot of a female pubis revealed by unzipped SEX jeans similar to those worn by Another member of the 430 King’s Road crowd Alan Jones in the infamous Forum magazine shoot.
