Derek Boshier: Inside The Mind Of A Pop Artist at Charing X Hospital
A selection of works by Derek Boshier in the collection of the Imperial College Healthcare Charity go on display this week.
The Charity raises funding for five London hospitals; there are 1600 artworks by contemporary practitioners in the collection. “These serve to provide a welcoming and warm environment for patients, staff and visitors in what might otherwise be stark surroundings,” says a spokesperson.
The works by Boshier, from 1979 to 2008, will be exhibited in the main reception of Charing Cross Hospital in Fulham, west London from Wednesday (March 25).
The hospital is in Fulham Palace Road, London W6 8RF.
